I think that kids that spend more time on the internet then with parents. This is because they are always on the computer,tv.etc. They are not spending time with the family. That is just what i think. That is my oppinion.

I personally probably spend about 3 hours a day with the media, maybe 4. It's true that children with easy access to the media spend more time using it because we just want easy access. If the media didn't have such easy access most people probably wouldn't bother with it. Young people who spend the most time with media also report spending more time with their parents. This is because many families like to do things like watch tv and movies together. I also believe it is true that new media displaces the use of old media because once we have the new stuff, people dump their old stuff to get what's new and "cool". Just like how we've gone from vcrs, to dvd players, and now to blue-ray and so on. I think that maybe 52 or 68% of youth have access to one of these parts of the media in their bedroom, depending on the age group. I think that youth that have poorer grades don't necessarily spend more time with video games than reading. It depends on the person, some people may read all the time get somewhat poor grades and some people who don't read may have good grades. This is because everyone's personal best is different. I think the dominant medium for everyone today would be either tv or music. Almost everyone i know has a tv and if they don't they sure hace access to music on the radio.

I would probably spend around 3 hours with media. Yes I think children with easy internet access spend more time with it because it is probably around them all the time. I think people who spend more time with media can be more physical because people who have ipods and are listening to them, tend to exercise longer. Yes I think that the new media is taking over the old because people always want all the newest things. I think that it would probably be 68% because I no of alot of kids that have that kind of stuff in their rooms. Yes kids who do play more vidio games than their friends who are reading probably get poorer marks in school because they probably put off reading. Also if leave their homework till the last minute and rush to get it done they probably don't do a good job. I think young people use the internet more.

I usually spend 2-3 hours a day with media depending on what I do that day if I go out or if I have a computers course. I think that kid might or might not go on the media oriented things depending on their dislikes and likes. I think that most kids will do those things but theres pobably the odd kid who doesn't. Number 4 I think is true because every time a new type of tecnology comes out everyone has to have it. i would spend a max of 4 hours a day with media. Yes if you have more access its true that they would use it more. If they spend alot of time with the media there is lees time to spend with your parents hobbies etc. It may displacethe old media depends. 83% has acess to it. When people have all this media it might/will effect your grades . I think the most used media selection would have to be computers or the video games.
