I think that you have to pay your respects to the ones who fought in both wars because if it weren't for them we would never have the freedom that we do now!
I think that the message was that you should remmeber the people who fought/died for your counntry just to give us freedom and peice,show some respect for what they have done for us.
for the first one the message was that you should have 2 minutes of silentce so you can remember the people who fought and died for our country. The dad was being disrespectful because he was walking around while other people were standing silently for 2 minutes.
what happened long ago was not good but the great grandpa's and others that fought in the war for freedom. And that when they ask for two minutes of silence do it I mean what bad will it do you? And that these videos are for peace and proves that no matter how long ago it happened wet will never what they did for us and our country.
The messages are that just respect what the soilders have fought for your freedom. Just give them 2 min of silence and love throughout remembrance day.
i think the video is sending a message to everyone that being thankful for what you have isn't a bad thing, you SHOULD be thankful that those soliders fight for our freedom & now those soliders who fought for us they are dead and can't live in freedom and enjoy life as we do. You see i don't see the point of people fighting now adays, they're just fighting because they dislike eachother when the soliders REALLY fought for a GOOD reason! Be nice to one another, be thankful you live in Canada.
I think that the message is to appreciate the people that are fighting for their country and take a few minutes in silence. I think it also means that take time to thank everyone for their hard work and pray for people to survive. You should be thankful to the people that are fighting because they are brave and want to stand up for our country so we should appreciate them.
after watching the three rememberance day videos i think that the message that they were trying to get across was that We Can't Forget about what all of the soldiers did for our country and to remember the soldiers that have already died for thier country to bring us freedom
I watched the three videos, and I think the message is that it doesn't matter who you are, or how old you are, you should still be respectful and remember those who fought overseas and died. Without them, we wouldn't be here right now.
Video #3 - This video is combining Y3W with the Rememberence Day theme. And I agree strongly with all of the Y3W coments. We should have world peace, we should stop fighting, we should stop war all together. But I am just one voice, it takes more than one voice to stop something this big. And I know there are more people out there who feel the same way I do about this, but no one is doing anything to stop it.
Video #2 - Although I have seen this video before, it always makes me feel the same. All those people who fought for us, died, or are even here with us today, should be respected. And anyone who doesn't think this way, should take time to stop, and think about what these people did for us and our country.
The frist video is about man trying to shop well the whole store store is standing for the two mintues in sclience, then near the end of it he looks at his little girl then he stop to pay respect. The message in the video is to pay respect.
The second video is about an old man talking a remembering the past times in the war.
The thrid is about young people saying that they will not forget the ones that have fallen.
I think that all three videos mean the same thing they are just explained in different ways. They all mean to to never forget why they fought for us. Remember the soldiers who fought bravely.
All three of these vidoes have the same massage, Rememberance.
These videos remind us of how tragic these wars really were. They show how people lost members of their families because they faught for peace. In my opinion the two minutes of silence is least we can do for everything these men and women have done for us over the years.
i think the message was take the 2 minutes to remember them and live life to the fullest for the soldiers that risked their lives and the ones who died to make this country free for all so take the two minutes and respect those who died so you could be free.

i think that all of the videos have great messages: Many people died for our freedom, and thats big. People need to show respect cause if it wernt for them, we might not be where we are today!
I think the vidios are about being respectful and even if you are really busy you should take time to remember the soilders who died in the war. It shows us that even though it has been a long time since the wars, our country would be really different if they didn't go to war.
Ive seen the first video before, though its still good to watch it on rememberence day to honour those who have died in that terrible war. I do know the story behind that song, and I think its kind of disrespectful that the man didn't pay respect in that two minutes of silence.
The other two videos were good. I liked the your 2 word one because the idea of combining that with rememberence day is kind of neat.And it was done in calgary! Yay Canada! The other video was great to, though I bet it would've been better with sound...

they might have had more reasons than that but they all wanted people to remember the great things they have done. And thats 2 minutes on Remembrance day for remembering why they did it and who exactly they were.
The one video we watched together:
I love that video the first time i watched it,it amazed me and i almost cryed. It reminded me the most of my grandpa who died almost a year ago now.
I believe that the messages that the movies were trying to send to us was to never forget to have two minutes of silence and drop everything your doing. Also to never forget the ones who have fallen for our country.
I think all these videos have very great messages. I think all of them were made to help people to remember all the brave soldiers who gave their lives for us. Also, the videos are to help people show respect on remembrance day and to wear a poppy and take a minute of silence. I think that remembrance day means something a little different to everyone. For some they may have lost someone in the war, some way remember the wars they fought in, and some people are just learning about them. That is why the Y3W video was my favourite. All the kids who made it got a chance to express what remembrance day meant to them. I'm sure that if all those soldiers were here today they would be very honored.
I think that you should be respectful to the soldiers, cause there the ones that ALL of us freedom, and with out that, who knows what it would be like today. On the 2 mins stop and have a moment of silents and think about what they did for us.

I think it symbolizes that no matter who you are you should be respectful and remember what they have done for us. I liked how the people had their three words and a picture to symbolize what they mean by it.
