Debris showed that the plane has crashed in the ocean close to the brazil coast. Close to Fernando de Noronha. French officials said there is little chance of finding survivors now.
They have found more debris and oil slick in the water. Air France officails say that the jetliner either broke apart in the air or when it hit the water. There was no chance for survival.
on ctv news there is no hope of survivors. there was 228 people on the plane. They still can't find the black box. they say the plane broke apart in the sky.
The investigators and the Air France officials have told the families of all the passengers that the jet liner either brkoe apart in the air or when it hit the water and that they must abandon any hope of finding survivors. They have not found the plane yet, but some U.S. ships are continuing to look for the ship. They have an approximate idea about where the ship might be but they arn' having any luck finding it.
There is now no hope of finding any survivors and AirFrance is consoling the families. United States have joined in the hunt for the plane and are trying desperatly to narrow the search zone. As of today France and the United States have been over the scene and have yet not recovered any debris. Many people went missing that Sunday Night 228. 216 passengers and the 12 crew that operated the plane. The plane left Rio de Janeiro to Paris. There was a message sent to the control center, but after that there was nothing. The message claimed to have lost cabin pressure and comeplete electrical failure.
Brazilian search planes have found metallic objects and aircraft seats in the Atlantic Ocean. The debris was found 650 km from Fernando de Noronha, Brazilian Islands. This was close to where the last contact made with the airplane that is missing.
Brazilian ships and French and Brazilian military planes are searching the approximate area of were the plane debris was found. France has also asked the United States to help in the search by using satellite imagery.
Peices of the plane have been found flosting around, although there still is no indication whether there is or isn't survivors. There is a few different ideas on why it has crashed but the only ones that make any sense are that lightening sturck the plane, the turbulance was too bad, heavy frost on the wings, and the system just completely shut down, after all they were flying through a mass thunderstorm that was up to 50,000 feet high and the plane couldn't fly over it, so it had to fly through, at only 35,000 feet.
Air France said that there is no hope for survivors. The Jet Liner debris was found in the Atlantic. Air France said that the plane disintegrated in the air or when it touched the ocean because lightning hit the plane causing the plane to have no power and when a plane has no power it is hard to fly.
Search teams have found an airplane seat, a fuel stick, and pieces of white debris scattered over three miles of open ocean in the mid atlantic ocean on tuesday where air france flight # 447 was carrying 228 had went down on sunday night. They think that the cause of the planes crash was that a strike of lightning as hit the plane. But i think that it wasnt lightning because a plane is built to take things like that and not effect it. Even if it was a lightning bold the plane wouldnt just vanish like that and get lost. The plane would glide for a few miles and they would be able to send out distress signals to people and say they got hit by lightning.
Search teams have found some debris of the plane that went missing on Sunday. They found an airplane seat, fuel stick pieces of white debris scattered almost 3miles apart. People now think that lightning didn't bring the plane down. They think it is a bomb threat because of all the pieces that are in the Atlantic Ocean.
They have recently found a lot of debris in the ocean. That is how they know that it has crashed in the ocean. They kind of know where it happened but all the debris that they found was about 60 km away from eachother. So they arent sure where it exactly crashed.
Experts made a slid of what they thought happened the last few moments and that they do not have any more information on the plane crash. They have not found any survivers yet, they believe that there could be none.
Some experts recontrusted the last minutes of the plane before it crashed using messages sent by the planes computers. From the message it seems that the plane's most important systems failed before crashing. The plane had 228 people on board. Several pieces were found about 100km apart.
It seems like the plane was going through a horrible storm. With black clouds electircally-charged and winds 160kmh. The passengers must have been through a living fire.
THey have a seven foot long piece of debris around where the plane had crashed and believe the plane went down because of the fact that the computers failed on them which shut down the engine and they couldn't do anything about it. In Rio de Janeiro there have been discoveries of 10 metallic items and some are 12 miles. there havent been any sign of any passengers or the black box
Pieces of the plane were found in the Atlantic ocean off Brazils shore. No survivors were found. They are now serching for the black box which holds all the planes information.
Five navy vessels were heading to the site, about 400 miles north east of Brazil's Fernando de Noronha islands. There were no survivors,Weather and aviation experts are focusing on the possibility of a collision with a brutal storm that sent winds of 100mph.
The Air France was found in the middle of the Atlantic. There are no survivors so far. The speculated cause of the crach that people are saying is that there was either a malfunction or else there was an explosion of some sort.
Some updates are that they are not optimistic about finding a black box that was on the plane at the time. Also the fine navy vessels are heading to a site about 400 miles north east of the crash to start the recovery process.
If no survivors are found it would be the worlds worst aviation disaster sinceNovember 2001 that killed 265 people in New York City. The black box should send signals for up to thirty days but it does not float that well.
A plane went missing with 228 people on it. It came down on the water early monday. Other planes that were searching for it found objects including an airline seat a life jacket and cables on tuesday. The cause of this was because of lightning they didnt find any bodies.
They found a seven metre long chunk of the plane. A brazilian air force plane with a special sensor spotted ten items including some that were metallic and a fuel slick twelve miles long.
There hasn't been any survivors found, but after they did more investigating it seemed like weather hadn't been the cause of the crash. They don't have very much longer to find the black box.
The plane was found about 400 miles north east of the Fernando de Noronha islands which are in Brazil. They have not found any survivors out of the 228 people. The cause of the crash (which is their thoughts of what happened) is that they were in a large thunderstorm and that they reached winds up to 100mph.
