DAY 4 BLOG: dalton said... It might make them feel like they aren't doing the right thing and then quit, ex: a kid who is doing drugs sees a drug commercial sees what it could do and turns away from it. Yes it could affect some kids confidence but it could be for the better. A teenager who has emotional problems (like cutting) and does drugs, he\she sees a commercial on drugs, then they get mad at them selves and possibly commit suicide. They make me feel uncomfortable.
i agree with him but i dont understand the get mad at themselves part
I think the class did a very good job commenting on the day for blog. We all seem to understand how certain commercials can effect a persons self-esteem.Actually I think everyone is commenting very well on most of the blogs.
In the last comments posted about the affects of commercials on kids, some people said that the commercials dont affect them. I think that 250 000, commercials could and has changed your opinion of certain things. You may not know it but subconsciously it has affected you.
I think that Ashley L.'s comment on day 4 is a good because some kids may think the have to starve themselves to become more beautiful even if they are perfect just the way they are.

Ryley, you forgot a space, line four. (... a blog.A wiki...)
I read the day four blog and found something very interesting in Kenton’s post. I completely agree with everything he said. If kids think there is a certain way to act or dress i could greatly damage there self esteem. If you have a chance to read Kenton’s post you really should.
I agree with everyone on the day 4 blog. Most people thought that this could make kids feel unworthy. Most kids in this class didnt pay attention to these commercials.
Kenton's blog is a very good explanation of what kids may feel about themselves after seeing one of these commercials. He put it into good words on how kids feel after seeing one of these.
I think this may make kids feel like they are fat or unfit because all the people they use on the commercials are super models. It also will probably lower their self confidence and self esteem because they think they are fat. If kids start thinking that they are fat they might become anorexic or bulimic. I don’t think these commercials are good because of these reasons. ( You forgot the dash on line 3 and 4. It's self-esteem and self-confidence.)
By reading all of the blogs, it seems that many people think that the people in commercials make you feel fat. I think it wasnt the entire problem. The biggest problem is the pressure that the commercials are weighing on the viewers. They are making you fat by getting you to eat DQ's new blizzard or things like that.Fat is not the entire problem, the commercial is.
I agree with Ashley L's response in the day 4 blog. Everyone is beautiful and everyone is affected by these commercials. We may not notice it but, it is true. Everyone's response was good and talked about self-esteem.
I agree with Ashley L's comment because kids don't need to starve themselves just to look good. They should just be themselves and be happy. I think all the comments were good. They all had something to do with the assignment.

As a worst case scenario i think that some people might commit suicide because of them. These commercials do not affect me." I agree with this comment.
I think everyone did a pretty good thing on what they feel about those commercails aimed at thier appearance. I also do think we should proof read before we send because everyones made a few mistakes including me lol.
I think that everyones comments are very well exampled for the questions that were suppose to be answered. Most peoples comments said that yes it welll affect kids and i totally agree with that.
I think that commercials advertising kids apperance is not a bad thing because it helps them find legit stores to shop at and improve their steez, but it can also mislead children into buying terrible looking clothes and push them to wear epic fail clothes that are just a part of terrible style fads.
Lol, I agree, kids don't like to wear "epic fail clothes", and you know you can spell check your work.

I agree with everyone on the Wiki blogs, a Wiki is used to stay organized and to keep in touch with other students or other people.

I agree with Kristine. It makes people aware of bullying, which is a good thing. I also agree about the model part. Its all fake.
I read over Kenton's blog and it really makes sense to me. Kenton has a good perspective on the commercials that have been aimed at children.
i think all the comments were explaining, and easy to read, There were a few spelling mistakes.
I agree with what Scott said about how comercials affect people, Because they will think they don't look as good as they do.
I Liked everyones comments because they are dealed with self esteemm and how people that are overweight would be offenced seeing all the super models.
Kenton's blog is a very good explanation of what kids may feel about themselves after seeing one of these commercials. He put it into good words on how kids feel after seeing one of these.
I agree with what everyone said. Everyone seems to know how it affects other people and the comments are good reponses.

I like how everyone just started to put down T.V, yet we all watch it anyways, but theres nothing really we can do, but express our own opinion.
great...
All the comments were good and they explained lots about how people might be hurt by these commercials.

everything seemed like a original opinion from everyone. Just bad spelling
