http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR9r7pcvub4 Watch this video on somebody who thinks he is the world's fastest texter. How do you think technology, such as texting, would aid somebody with his disability?

I think that someone that had a speech inpedament would find this useful nut not a blind person.
This technology would be usefull to someone with his condition becuase he would be able to comunicate with people faster and easier without being in the same room.
I think he is really fast. I wish i could text with my cell phone behind my back. I like that the cell phone can read what messages he receieves. Without that option i don't know any other way he would be able text.
I think it would be very useful to blind people because it is a good way for them to communicate with other people and if need be contact people in an emergency.
I think technology could help a person with a disability like that man because if you are texting and it reads you the message you will know what it says and you will also be able to text the person back.
I think that texting would be very helpful for him. When he recieves a text i like how it reads it out for him. I think that that part is very helpful. It could really change his life, eg. if he needed to send an email for work he could just text it.
i don't think that he is the fastest texter, but hes is alot better than the average person. I you where blind and able to text like that it would make life alot easier and efficient.
I think technologie would aid some one with his disability good because lots of people are like him and they also use technologie to help out with their lives.
I think that texting would be good for him because he has something to do, and itis another way for him to comunicate with people without having to call them.
I think texting could aid somebody in his or her disability because you don’t need to be able to see or listen to it all you need is to be able to feel the keyboard.
I think someone who was blind would be aided by a cellphone, because they would be able to keep up with friends and family without them actually being there with him. Because some cellphones speak the text out loud, it's a very helpful way of communicating for blind people.
I don't know how texting is useful to someone that's blind, but I find it very interesting that technology, such as cell phones are reaching out to people who are blind or challenged in one way or another.
yes I would think that learning to text when your blind is a good skill to learn, because it can help comunicate with other people when you need help, contact family or even set reminders.
I think that it would be very hard and annoying to text without being able to see. the guy in the video is blind and he is a faster texter than i am i guess you would just have to practise lots.
I think people that are legally blind, or just plain blind will have more of an advantage when is comes to memorizing the keys on a phone. This will help other types of disabillity people such as Def people, people that cannot speak, and ofcourse blind people.
I think texting without looking wouldbe extremely hard. You would have to be very coordinated to do so, and you would probably need alot of practice. I think it would help people with his disability because then they could text and communicate to other people, and have the phone read the text to them.
Technology really is helping him because it repeats what he said and so he knows what hes texting because he is blind. Technology is getting alot better and if he didn't have that phone that repeats what he put, then it would have taking him alot longer or else never to figure out how and what he texted.
New technology can help people who are partially blind and have disablities by voice speakers and other useful things that dont rely on certain senses. The newer the technology, the more functions it has, the better for people with disabilities except they have to learn it.
it would aid somebody like this beacuse texting is all by hearing and they feel of the buttons and if u are blind like this guy it would be much easier.
i think this is pretty cool that a blind guy can text super fast. technology can be hard with blind people because it has to do with a lot of pushing buttons and reading.
It would help him alot because now he can communicate much more faster with people. He also can do alot more things than he could before he got the phone.
I think that somebody with that disability and is texting would have to be very intelligent because , you usually have to look at the phone inorder to spell something , unless you are excellent at texting . I also think that it is good if poeple with his disability have a phone cuz then they can communicat to on and other.
In a way I think it's good that he can text without looking so he can communicate with other people. It would help his social life. If you use your phone enough you do get used to where the letters are, its just like a keyboard, if you use it long enough you can type without looking. I dont think its a bad thing that he knows how do text without looking.
People with this disability wouldn't have to be right by the person to talk to them they can text them from wherever they are. They wouldn't need to read it because they could listen to it on there phone.
This person and other people would be able to talk with someone who is far away from them without having to actually talking to them they could text them and they could hear what the text is saying
Obviously he isn't the world's fastest texter, but texting blind isn't that hard either once you do it a couple times you don't need to look at the phone, the only thing that would be hard is reading it but he has a button on his cell phone to do that for him so it isn't that hard.
I think that someone with a disability needs help. Now that they have the function of having the phone read you the message is interesting. I liked how the key pad would do a certain sound on each key so it is recognizable.

It would make it alot easier for people with that disability and with that type of phone that reads texts out to you it would make it alot easier.
Texting would help someone with a disability, exspecially if they couldn't talk. Its just an easier way to communicate with friends and family.
I think that is cool that there is a phone that can read the message aloud so that people with disabilities could communicate through texting.

Well i think if you are blind you can still text just feel the buton pattern anyone can do this. You just need to try try and try and keep prticing.

this guy can text for a blind guy and who would blame him for that kind of disabilty

I think that you could get this disability if you are texting all the time.
This person and other people would be able to talk with someone who is far away from them without having to actually talking to them they could text them and they could hear what the text is saying

I think that this guy isn't blind and that he is just faking. HE is okay at texting but I have seen faster.
