A blog is a spot were you can post yoyr news of your life and people can read it and comment. A wiki is a spot were you can plan out something with a group of people and change and move around the ideas on the document.
A blog is used to express your thought and oppions or to make a story about something and many people comment on it. A wiki is an organizer were people who are in a group to go somewhere post what they need or what they have on the wiki and other people in the group go and check what they need and what they could bring the where they are going. The similarity is that you can comment and add to both.
This year I did not watch much of the Olympics. The only thing I saw was when the speed skating was on and I think I only saw 4 skaters. This year I thought we did good, we were tied for first for gold metals.
In the olympics I am mostly interested in hockey. I have been very excited about Canada winning against Russia because the Russian people are good at hockey. I havecompared Canada with Germany and so far we're not doing too bad except that they are secound and Canada is fourth. we though both have the same amount of gold medals wich is 8 gold medals.
My favourite sport of intrest at the olympics is hockey. It's really exciting to watch and I hope that canada wins gold in mens to.
The olympics have been very exiting so far. I have been watching whenever I can, the sports that intrest me the most are snow-boarding and ski-ing in the freestyle trick competitions. The competition level is very high and very active. I think Canada is doing very good in the olympics we are currently in the top five which is very good. We are doing very good compared to some other countries that don't have many metals. I think Canada is going to finish in the top three.
My favourite sport in the olympics is the mogul skiing or curling. I got to see Alexandre Bilodeaux golden run. The gold medalists story that inspired me the most was Jon Montgomery's. He came from a small town close by, and he followed his dream of becoming a olypic skeleton performer, with the support from the small town Russel,Manitoba.
The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics are almost done! Canada has a total of 17 medals and are in fourth place. The USA are in first place with 32 medals! Some of the sports i have been watching are the ice hockey, snowboard halfpipe, snowboard and ski cross, and some speed skating. Canada is beleived to win 24 medals during the Winter Games but i do not beleive that we will get to that number with only three days left until the closing cerimonies.
I haven't watched the olypics yet and don't realy plan on it. The sports that interest me more would probably be hockey or speed skating. I havent watched any olympics for many years except the odd time. when canadas womens hockey still undefeated won against USA was not a big surprise, but that is an awsome thing for us.. Canadas men Hockey I hope they win at least a silver medal. Thats my opinion on hockey and the olympics.
On the NPR website, I saw something that would anger the dutch. In the 10,000 metre mens skating, Sven Kramer was on his way to golden glory, when his coach told him to switch lanes. Confused, Sven did, and was disqualified for being in the wrong lane at the wrong time. It just goes to show you how dumb some people can be. If it wasnt for the coach, he would've won gold, but a good athlete listens to ta coach, and apparently, Sven was a good athlete. As for myself, I have been trying to watch what olympics I can (excluding curling, figure skating, along those lines).

Every night i go home I watch the canadian olypics. Probrably the only one in my family tht sits in front of the television wearing olypic read mittens yelling at the screen. Oh well , i got some pride. My three favorite sprots are skiing freestyle , speed skating , and womens figure skating or partner figure skating (dance). I watched the night were Johannie Rochette won bronze , also when moir and virtue won gold in partner figure skating . I really like when canda medals for something , It's amazing if we win gold but its okay if we medal in bronze or silver because you get 1 , 2 , 3 out of like 30 - 200 people. I'm glad right now that canada is doing 4th out of like 30 countries so it's nice to know were doing good in our hometown. We are in fourth but after today i think we could beat norway and be in 3rd.
Well the States are in the lead with 8 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 12 bronze with a total of 32. Canada is in 4th with 8 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze with a total of 17. We have to pick it up! I have only watched hockey and snowboarding this year. Hockey is my favourite sport and i like to watch it too. I think it would be AMAZING to play for team Canada. I think that Canada needs to pick it up a bit in the hockey department though. They shouldn't have lost to the United States! But I still think they can get first for the men. Women won the gold so that's a definate positive!
The olympics that I've been watching are the snowboarding, the hockey and the skiing. The sport that interests me is the mens hockey
I haven't really been watching the Olympics but the sport that interests me the most is the figure skating and speed skating. I think Canada is doing pretty good with 17 medals so far. The competion level is high because Canada is only a few medals behind Norway and Russia isn't far behind Canada.
My favourite sport in them olympics is hockey. We have 17 medals while the USA is leading the olympics with 32 medals. I think we are doing great since we havent won gold on home turf. We currently have 8 gold medals.
The Olmpics have been great this year and I've really enjoyed watching the events. I was watching when Alex won our first home gold medal. I love watching the Ski jumps and the snow boarding a ski cross. Compared to other countries Canada has been fortunate with our medal count so far. Our Olympians are great this year and I look forward to watching more.
The Olympics I have been watching have been very interesting and have kept me at the end of my seat. My favorite event was the ladies snowboard cross. Maelle Ricker was going into the final race in fourth place. Right off the start of the race she got a head start and made an even bigger lead as the race went on. Watching sports like these and the amount of skill it would take is truly amazing. Comparing to other countries at the moment Canada is in fourth place and The United States is in first place. One thing I found interesting is how Canada has the same amount of gold medals as The United States.
The Olmypics so far have been very good i think. I have been watching on the break thats what I did the whole time during the day. One thing I didn't really like about the Olympics was the opening ceremonies, I didn't think it portrayed all of Canada well at all. The sports that interest me the most is skiing, other than crosscounrty skiing, and figure skating the dance part of it, because I'm in dance. I also enjoy the hockey because its fun to watch and to get excited about going to win. I think that its not right that USA is in the lead for medals, because when you look at their statistics, they have the most amount in bronze and sliver, and the least in gold where as, Canada has the most in gold, second in silver and third in bronze.
I think this years Olympics have been great. It's awesome to see many Canadians winning medals on home soil. My favourite sport to watch was Ski Cross because there were many crashes. I also enjoy watching the short track speed skating because it gets really intense when the skaters try to pass. But the sport I most enjoy watching is the snowboard cross. Let’s hope Canada can keep winning some more medals.
The only event's I watch are ski cross, snowboard cross and hockey.
I am really happy that canada has 8gold madals and I hope the athletes get more. We are currently placed 4th for medal s and thats pretty cool.
I watched some of the olypics but not alot, i liked the down hill skiing. I thought that it was amazing how fast they went.
Hello, I only watched one Olympic game through all of them, Canada Vs USA. There could of been nobody better than Crosby to score the OT winning goal.
Ive been watching the snowboard racing and the freestlye snowboarding. The sports that interests me the most are the snowboarding. Our metal winnings are differetn to other countries metal winnings by the atmosphere.
I watched alot of the olympic athletes in Canada and the USA are more athethic than the other contries because we are more used to training for it all the time and more people do the sports in our counries. Hockey interested me the most because we were against the USA and we won both womens and mens.
I've been watching the Olympics since day 1, when Gretzky lit the Olympic cauldron, until yesterday when Crosby scored that winning goal. My favorite medal win was win when Alex Bilodeau won the gold with his brother cheering him on, who has cerebral- palsy.
hi, in the olympics the only really sport that i heard about is hockey, i didnt really watch the olympics much or at all, mainly becasue i was'nt intersted. But i was still cheering them on from my house while i was doing something else. I watched the starting of hockey against the united states for a little while. Im sure everyone tryed there best and gave there best effort.
For the Olympics I have watched it a few times, but only for a few seconds. The sport that I most enjoy watching is Hockey. Out of the whole Olympics, the only thing I really watched was the hockey game, Canada against the U.S.A. There were times where I thought Canada was going to lose, but in the end they won, I really enjoyed it but other than that I did not watch that much of any other sport because television isn't in my interests.
Hello, In the 2010 olympics the sports i was most interested in were mens moguls, hockey, and snowboarding cross. The Canadian team broke a record of the most gold medals won in one year. They won 14 gold medals.
The Olympics were amazing. Canada won the most gold medals in Olypic history and are now known aroundthe world for their hospitality. The last hockey game on Sunday, Canada vs. Us, was played well with Sidney Crosby scoring the winning goal. It was the perfect end to the games. The closing ceremonies were held on Sunday February 28 and were the first Olympic closing ceremonies ever to be held indoors.
During the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, I have watched a number of sports including hockey, biathalon, figure skating, moguls, ski jumping, speed skating and snowboarding. My favourite sport by far was hockey because it was the most exciting to watch. I watched the gold medal game and Canada beat the USA 3-2 in overtime. People train their whole lives to compete at the olympic games, and you can tell by watching it. The compete level and determination of the athletes is extremely high. Overall canada got third in medal standings, behind USA who got first, and Germany who finished second.
The Olympics are pretty awesome, but their even better if you are in them. I didn't watch the Olympics very much even though I would have liked to. Team figure skating is the sport that interests me the most. From what I've heard, Canada did pretty good with winning medals compared to other countries.
The olympics are my favorite things to watch. My favorite thing to watch during the olympics is snowboarding, skiing, and hockey. I think that we did very well and all Canadians would be proud.
i have watched some of the olympics but not much. i liked the downhill skiing the best. the copition level was very high in the olympics there were lots of people bragging.we placed 3 in the over all medal count. we won a lot of gold but our medal count was lower than germany and usa.
Canada ending up having fourteen gold, seven silver, and five bronze, having in total 26 medals. Having said that, I think that the Canadian athletes did an amazing job in representing there country. The one sport that interested me the most was hockey, I have watched the womens gold medal game along with the mens game plus the other two, I thought that both teams deserved winning the gold medal for how hard they worked together in such a short time not knowing how to play with each other very well, and playing against your own team mates must have been hard to see them loose/win. But in the end it all came down to good sportsmen ship!
Hi, I'm Kevin.
The sport that i was most interested was Short Track Skating.
Koreans were awesome at Short Track.
But there were some disqualification.
Apolo Ohno who is a Short Track Skater from United States, was really good as well.
And yesterday when Stanly Crosby scored the golden goal, at the OT.
I was very excited. And in Vancouver all the people got out to downtown and celebrated.
Even though Canada is in 3rd place for the medals, Canada has the most gold medals of all.
Olympic is a event and celebration for people all over the world so I'm sure everyone enjoyed watching the Olympics. Just like I did.
I watching olympics on the TV
it was very fun. and all player're
did very well. I like figure skating. because it is very beautiful and fantastic.
beautiful music sound and player's
actions are makes me very wonderful.
and another reason is because of
kim yu na . she is very proud of
korea. and canada figure skating
player is also very did well.
i'm very impressd.
I have been watching the Olympics, especially hockey and figure skating. Figure skating interests me the most. We have the most gold metals this year in the winter olympics.
Hi Mrs. McBride. I watched the Olympics for the last couple of weeks. I was pretty interested in hockey, skiing and ice dancing, I don't play hockey, I don't skate at all actually but I do ski. The hockey game Canada had against the U.S was pretty intense. It had alot of suspense and kept me interestied the whole time. I was glad to hear that Canada broke the record for most Olypic gold medals!
