Welcome to Computer Fundamentals 900, Semester 1 of 2009. As stated in class, daily blogging will be a required component of your course outline, it is worth 10% of your mark. Today, check out the blogging rubric with your class and understand the different levels of blogging. Welcome to Computer Fundamentals Grade 9. A portion of each class is related to this Blog Site. You will be required to log on, and read the post for the day. You will always be asked to respond to the post. Remember, safety on the internet is number one. Do not reveal any information about yourself that could put your safety at risk. Only sign off using your first name. You are invited to post your opinions and interests, you are not allowed to reveal your age, email, home address or other sensitive information. All blogs will go through me first, I am the moderator of this site, if I feel your safety is at risk with the information you revealed, I will not publish your response and ask you to redo it. You will take home a Permission letter for Student Use of Powerful Web Tools on the internet. Until you bring this permission letter back signed, your blogs will not be published, nor will you receive a mark.

i know how to use a computer but i dont know the detailed stuff. i think this class will ne easy and hard. i am not really good at typing im like in the middle from bad and good. i have never blogged before in my life. i like computers they are fun i guess.
I think computer fundamentals is a good course for me because i am not a very fast typer. I would like to get better at my typing skills. I have computers at home but i never really go on them unless i want to play games. In elementary school, we didn't use computers a whole lot but when we did, we used the normal keyboards not these weird white ones.
I am decent with computers and typing. Since I do posses a computer at home, I would think that this class might be easy. I don't read blogs nor do i blog, but i am thinking blogging will be very easy to figure out.
In Computer Fundamentals I hope that we get to do some really good researching, I think that this could be a really fun class. I have lots of experince with computers because I have a computer at home and in Elementary school my teacher made us a blog and we had to put are assigments on it instead of handing them in.
This year is the first year that I will ever blog. I think this will be easy and we'll all learn a few things. At my home, I have my own computer but its a Macintosh. So, I know a bit about both Windows and Mac. Personaly, I like Mac better but i guess it's good to learn on both. I hope this year will be fun!
I think this computer class will be interesting. I will learn new things in this class. This will be my first year blogging. I have a computer at home that I use lots. I know how to use windows and applications like that. I will know new things by the end if the semester.
I seems that Computer Fundamentals is fun. I have used a blog before in computer class. I do have a computer at my house. I think computer fundamentals will teach me how to type faster and better
I beleive that computer fundamentals is an easy class because I like to work on computers and I know how to work computers very well. It gets kind of boring sometimes but its better than having homework. I will probably stay working with computers for the rest of high school and maby after I graduate. I hope later we could make videos using Window Movie Maker because i love to make them. I like to put my video creations on youtube too. I also hope to improve my typing skills. Basically computers is a really great invention and I'm sticking with them.
its an okay process because when i was back at my old school we did alot of this stuff so thats why i knew alot about what you were talking about, but the problem is i still think the key boards a little tricky and to spell words out full and properly its alot different because im used to going on msn sites were you dont have to but thanks for asking will post soon ttyl.
I find computer fundamental 9, easy because im very good with computers and im a fast learner. I have a computer of my own at home. This class should help me improve on my typing and computer skills.
In computer fundamentals class, I hope to improve my typing skills. In My previous school we also blogged, and we had typing tests that were just done on word so we never got an accurate timing. I do not have a compuer at home that I can use to do homeowrk on or improve my typing skills there. I am looking forward to learning about different programs and improving my skills in this class.
i do not blog. in my old school we did not blog. i do not like computers. at our old school we only played games and facebook, hot mail ect.
I have a computer at home so I know a lot about this class. I think that this class will be pretty easy because I know a lot about computers and how to save stuff and I have used a lot of the things in elementary school that we used.
Fri. September 4th, 2009. I am very good with computers but I am a slow typer. Other than the speed tests I think this class will be a breeze because I am very good with all the programs and windows.
I have a labtop at home and this keyboard is alot different from mine it's wierd cause its harder to use and this computer class is different from what I had expeced from my school but yea it's fum
I like Computer Fundmentals because its fun and we get to do and learn alot of stuff. I have a computer at home. I blogged before in Photography at PAA. At my old school we did a lot of all the right type.
I think that computar fundamentals will be a good class cause then we can learn more about stuff that we didnt know about.

I was thinking computer fundamentals was going to be a fun class where i could learn about how to type faster,and i was right. This class is everything i had anticipated it to be. I would like to learn more about microsoft word and other programs.

I was not expecting that we were going to do word typing in computer fundemetals. I thoght it was just going to be research, and projecys on the computer.
I thought that computer fundamentals was going to be more about, learning soft wares, programs, and general computer use. I am wrong, but I don’t mind that we will be doing more typing, researching, and projects than I first anticipated.
This class, computer fundamentals, is exactly as I had imagined it would be. A simple overview on everything we will be doing on the computer in highschool and on.
Ainsworth seems like a good typing tool, but its more boring than ATRT was. Oh well, this isn't Elementary anymore.
I honestly didn't know what to expect. I really didn't think about this class to much, but when I saw computers on my time table I thought thier was going to be alot of typing.
I like computer fundamentals cause I like computers,typing and the internet. I thought this class was going to be like this and i like learning new stuff on computers.
Computer class is what i thought it would be, i think as we go on with the term it will be fun. Ainsworth is fun! I really enjoy doing stuff like that on computers.
I thought computer fundamentals was going to be all about proper typing. Sure there is going to be other things but I thought is was going to be mostly typing.
I think that the class is fun because we get to work with computers. I dont think that by this age you shouldn't need the kids how to use microsoft word cause everyone knows how to work and its extra features. I thought we were going to learn more about other programs like adobe photoshop.
Computer Fundamentals is exacty what i thought it would be because we are learning about how to do most thing things we have already learned.

I think the blog is a great way for the students to connect with there teachers. Also i think computer fundamentals would be one of the more fun classes in this school because we use computers.
i thought computers was gonna be just like this because my brother told me a lot about this school so i new a lot already.
I tought that this class was going to be alot of typing and it looks like I'm right. I don't really like that because I'm not good at typing. I do like that I am able to choose the topic of my research paper.

this computer class is exactly how i thought it would be but i thought this class wouldn't be good but it is alright overall i think im gonna do good in this class
i think i would like computer fundamentals because i love computers in not on them a whole lot but i know alot about them and what better time then now to learn more about computers.
I dont really know what to expect of this class i know there probably will be alot of typing and using microsoft office applications to do many things.

I do not think i will really enjoy this class because i find these type of classes rather boring. I am a decent typer but i could improve. In my old school we never really used computer typing programs. BYE BYE :D
I think this class is about learning proper keyboarding and learning how to use Microsoft programs. I am a slow typer, so I dont really like typing, but overall, it isnt that bad.
Computer fundamentals is the exact thing i thought it would be. It is fun and efficiant work time and I can blog every other day.
