Some interesting Cell phone facts for your information, please read and comment.Did you know that two cell phones operating on either side of an egg will cook the egg and the same thing is happening to your brain and eyes when it's up next to your head?Did you know you can dial 911 on a Cell phone for emergency service even if the phone is locked or not in service?Did you know that for around $100 (sometimes less, sometimes up to $440), anyone can buy a list of everyone you've called from your cell phone for the last month? Sometimes they can also get your incoming calls and call locations, too.Did you know cell phones are actually a radio -- an extremely sophisticated radio, but a radio nonetheless?Did you know that up to 60% of the radiation emitted by a typical cell phone, (enough to cause heating), will be absorbed by the user’s head?Did you know that different brands and models of phones have widely different levels of radiation emissions?Comment on some of these facts, believable or not?

I heard once that some people in a universty cooked popcorn with there cellphone's rining. A friend of mine couldn't get a cellphone for a long time because her dad heard you can get brain problems while talking on it. I think thats maybe why most people our age just text.
I think most of the facts are false because they just don't seem like something that could happen. I think that you could get a list of peoples phone calls for some reason, but why would you want to get a list of peoples phone calls unless you are someone like a cop doing undercover work. I think some of them are believeable.
I dont believe any of this at all. If any of this were true, such as the radiation and the egg cooking thing, cell phones would be disposed of permanently. It's like saying that the government is using psychic satellites to protect against a revolution. All of this is just nonsense.
Those are some interesting things that I wouldnt have ever believed. But it sounds realistic to me. Cell phones cooking your brain sounds scary but it doesn't sound that fake it sounds believable.
I think that two phones on each side of an egg can not cook it. You can call 911 on a Cell Phone if it is locked but not if its not in service. Alot of these facts are probably not true but a couple are i tihnk.
I dont belive that a cell phone can cook an egg at all. I also didnt know that cell phones were actually radios but I guess you learn something new everyday. I already knew that you can have a 911 call with no service but i find it stupid because then technically you do have service so you can't call your parents. After readind most the facts i did recall that i knew some of them but alot of them i didn't know .
I think the facts about cell phones are true because the cell phone cuases brain damage and is bad for you
I think that the facts about cell phone radiation is true because of all the companies advvertising low radiation phones. The statements about people buying your call lists and calls recieved I think are lies. People should not be able to access your information with out knowledge of the user knowing.
I think I already responded to this one but anyway. I heard that you can cook popcorn with cellphones when they are ringing. My friend couldn't get a cellphone because her dad heard that cellphones can cause brain tumors. The people who by those phone call lists should have to show ID inorder to buy them.
I do not believe that two cell phones could cook an egg. I highly doubt some of these facts are true or if they are true they are way over exagerated. People could not buy your recent call list unless they worked with CSI or the government, because of personal security issues.
Some of these facts are a little frightening! I never would have thought that cell phones could fry a egg! I did know that you could dial 911 when the phone is locked or not in sevice. I did not know that radiation could be given off by a single cell phone. These dfacts are a little scary but i will most likely remember them that way!
I think that the amount of radiation in a cell phone is dangerous. I didnt know that different types of phones had different amounts of radiation.
I think it is true that cell phones are really bad for your brain but it also effects you in different ways when you keep it in your pocket all the time. When it said that two cell phones can cook an egg I didn't really believe it. I knew and believe that the cell phne is like a radio and it acts way stronger with all those radio waves.
Hi Mrs. Mcbride. Some of these facts interest me. I didn't know that cell phones gave of radiation emissions, or that 60% of the radiation can be absorbed by your head. It reminds me of a microwave, kind of. i guess I already knew that you would be able to call 911 if your phone is locked, but not if you weren't in service! I heard rumours that you can actually call 911 if you don't have minutes! That's a comforting thought. You never know when something's going to happen right? So if cell phones give off radiation I suppose it would be possible to cook an egg. From the inside. I don't want to imagine my brain being cooked from the inside!
I don't believe that your brain is being cooked while on the phone, a way i basically know this is that some people work with their phones every day, and are on the phone for work a lot, and yet, their brain isn't cooked, they are still alive. Being able to call 911 on a phone if its locked is a good thing to be able to do. This weekend i went to the Synchotron in saskatoon, and learned that you get radiation from just going outside from the sun. so getting a tiny bi8t of radiation from a cell phone hasn't hurt anyone now, and it probably never will.
I can believe this about cell phones. I have heard about the radiation problems before and i can see the reason for worries. Cell phones are great and have done splendid things for people but there are still many cons about cellular devices. I dont know why the would allow regular people to see others call history and the radiation part is scary. People should be aware of these facts.

I think most of these things are real. If a cell phone is that dangerouse why is the health oraganization letting people use them. If these are able to cook eggs and were putting them up to our heads we shouldnt use them.
I believe most of the facts on cell phones. You have to be very careful about your cell phone records and make sure no one is tracking you. But about the radiation from the cell phone I don't know about that because if we accumulate that much radiation with the amount of how much we use our cell phones we could possibly be dead. so we have to be very careful with our cell phones.
Wow but i dont really talk on my phone much so ya what ever i dont really care about the whole situation because if you go through life worrying all the time you arn't really living.
I think the egg cooking is kind of unbelievable. I don't believe that at all. And it's kinda scary that anyone can buy the list of people I call. I don't believe the radiation because the amount I use my cell phone, I( would have way to much radiation in my body.
i think they are beliavable facts. they sound true and all but now in day everything gives off some sort of radiation ex. microwave.
I think that not everyone uses cell phones too much to get radation effects from it and bout the egg one i don't think anyone holds a phone against there face all the time to be able to fry it. but i also think cell phones are going wayy to far in technology
I belive that some of these facts that have been said are true, such as different phones having radiation and it is bad for your brain because you can do some serious damage to it, on the other hand cooking and egg with two cell phones on either side is very hard to believe and I strongly don't believe that. Everyone should be careful on picking the right cellphone with low radiaton so you can keep yourself safe!
Hi Mrs. Mcbride! What it said about cooking the egg and your brain is true. My cousin just had brain surgery because of a cell phone that cooked his brain. This information about cell phones is true because they do cause brain damage.
Hey. No i dont beleive that if two phones were on either side of a egg that it can cook it. I believe that people can track you from your cell phone, its creepy, but it happens. I don't believe when it says you can contact 911 if the phone is not even activated because if the phone is not activated you have no airtime.
I think that cell phones are a valuable piece of electronic to contact and txt people who you wanna talk too.
I believe some of the facts of cell phones but i don't believe they can cook an egg thats impossible and i don't believe everytime you talk on your cell phone it fries your brain unless your talking on your cell phone 24/7. Most of the facts i did know about cell phones like how many people you called in a month and how many outgoing calls you had in a month.

I think the radiation is true becausae if you talk on the cell phone for a long time, it hurts your head but its not stong enough to cook an egg.
And the buying list of people and incoming calls and call location is false but if its true, it should be banned.
Because people have right to keep their private life, and you can't buy peoples privacy for cash.
And you can dial 911 even though your phone is not in service, I know that because i've seen it.
I really hope that those statements are not true because if they are, I doubt if I would ever text anyone again. If it was true tghwn wouldn't there be more advertising for the dangers of cell phone
I think these facts about cell phones with radiation aren't true. They may cause radiation but it will only happen over a long period of time. I don't believe that cell phones can cook an egg, before the egg rotts. I knew cell phones were a little bit like a radio because it uses the same time. I knew that you could dial an emergency number if the phone is locked.
If the fact about radiation were true, wouldn't most people stop using cell phones. I already knew about calling 911 and having service. You should be careful with your cell phone records because it is possible that someone could be tracking you, but i don't think that that information should be available to anyone but the cell phone user.

I think that these facts about cell phones are believable because of all the signals and radiation they give off. I think however that some of these examples are exaggerated. For exapmle the egg one, you would need heat to cook an egg, not just cell phone radiation. Overall they do give off radiation and are bad for the environment, but I don't think they are a huge concern.
I think what people can do with your phones now are creepy. They can track it and stalkers will no what you text and where your phone is. Cell phones are bad for your mind because of the radiation.
I think that cell phones are very dangerous especially when you use them too often. I also think that my personal calls should remain private.
